Sculpture works

With the loss of travel impacting many of us durring the pandemic and specifically my travel documentary photography, I decided to work at something that I could do without traveling and that has always interested me.

Sculpture.

So my first foray into this art form comes in the form of the series Short Forms. This is based on the inspiration of abbreviated sayings that are commonly used in text messages and social media. Being not a young  person but not quite an old person (depending on your perspective) these abbreviations can create a bit of confusion in communications with others that are not familiar with them. Hence came the idea to play with the translating these abbreviations from the letters into 3-dimensional forms.
